PIR movement sensor
This intelligent sensor (passive infrared or PIR) detects movement by sensing the infrared energy emitted from a body as it moves across the sensor's field of vision. When motion is detected, the sensor transmits an alarm signal to the control panel. They are 'pet friendly' to help reduce false alarms from pets up to 18 kilo (40lb) in weight, while still providing superior human sensing performance.

Smoke detector
The wireless smoke detector is active 24 hours a day, even if your system is disarmed. It will trigger the alarm if smoke or a significant rise in temperature is detected by this sophisticated unit. They contain long life batteries and the system will warn you before the batteries need replacing.

Door/window contact
Wireless contacts can be attached to windows and doors to detect when they are opened. This is a particularly good idea for external doors or downstairs windows in rooms you use less frequently. The alarm can then be set to allow you to move about at home without setting them off.

Remote control key fob
This compact remote control key fob allows you to arm and disarm your system by simply pressing a button, similar to a car’s central locking system. You may need additional remote controls for your family members and perhaps a trusted neighbour. They can also be used as a panic button.

Touchpad
This wireless touchpad can be located at the main entry and exit point in your home (usually the front door) to enable you to arm and disarm the system by typing your unique code. It can be used instead of the keypad on monitor's control panel and also as a panic button.

Panic button
This wireless emergency panic button can be used to obtain assistance in an emergency. It provides additional peace of mind for the elderly or those with special needs.

Decoy bell box
This decoy bell box can be installed as a visual deterrent to intruders, they are available for Southern Electric, Scottish Hydro Electric and SWALEC customers.
